Madhuri Dixit on Saturday released her first-ever song  Candle on Facebook and Instagram. It has been written, recorded and performed by her itself. According to Madhuri Dixit, her song Candle is about hope, something we need in large supply.

She dedicated this song to the frontline workers who are fighting the coronavirus to save others. In one of her latest video on Instagram she says, It’s been a challenging year so far, while we are under lockdown in our homes. We’ve tried to find meaning through the passion projects that need to come to light. Music has been that passion for me for many years. For the great response I got from my performance for Perfect by Ed Sheeran, it motivated me to share my original music with the world and take you all on my journey. It’s a humble representation of my life over all these years. Full of surprises, struggles, celebration and soul searching. One thing that ties us all together is love and hope. I am super excited as the first song Candle releases on Saturday. Candle to me represents the power of all of us to burn brightly and show the world that even in the worst of storms we can come out together stronger. Which reminded me the numbers of time I had to dig deep to overcome an obstacle in my life and rise to the occasion.
